Pre-Opening Reception & Panel

Preview things to come at the 2027 San Diego Black Film Festival by attending the annual Pre-Opening Reception & Panel.

Meet & greet filmmakers; sit at director chairs for photos; pick up festival tickets and brochures. It’s also an opportunity to obtain information about the festival’s upcoming films, parties and panel discussions. Filmmakers and other celebrity guests are always on-hand for photos and autographs.

Reservations Required – fill in form below. Maximum of 2 attendees per reservation. If you’re not certain that you and your guest will be able to attend, please do not make a reservation. In addition, it might be a good idea to first talk to any friend or guest you plan on inviting to tag along with you before committing them to attending the Pre-Opening Reception. In the event of an emergency preventing you from attending, please let us know in advance so that other attendees may be admitted in your place. You will not receive a confirmation, but rest assured we will receive your reservation once your push reserve. Your name will then be added to our will call list.
