Screening Pass – $75 This pass is good for all films each day of the festival including opening day films and panel discussions. Dates: Jan. 29-Feb. 2Locations: AMC La Jolla 12 – Directions (There are three ways to purchase.) 1. PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE: Your tickets, passes or other purchases will not be mailed to you. Your receipt is your ticket to the film or event. Therefore, you must print-out your receipt and bring with you to the film or event. Or bring your receipt to pick up your screening pass or other credential. No cell phone display of a receipt will be accepted. Again, you must print your receipt on paper and bring with you to act as your ticket. Or you must print out your receipt and bring with you in order to pick up your screening pass or other credential. If you are unable to print-out a receipt, please do not purchase a film ticket or event ticket online. Instead, you should purchase your tickets at the festival box office or at the film or event location. You must bring a valid ID that matches the name on your printed receipt. All sales are final. Absolutely no refunds unless a film or event is cancelled. Buy Now Screening Pass 2. PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE BOX OFFICE: All film tickets, passes, and events can be purchased at the festival box office located at 220 West “G” Street, Suite E. Downtown San Diego. Starting January 2, the festival ticket office will be open daily 10AM – 6PM. 3. PURCHASE TICKETS AT FILM OR EVENT LOCATION: You may also purchase film or event tickets on the day of the event or at the actual location of the film or event. In this case, simply show up at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the film or event and attempt to purchase your way in. However, there is no guarantee that the event or film would not have already sold out. Therefore, it might be a good idea to advance purchase your film or event ticket on the day of the event from the festival box office or event location. Or, purchase online on the day of the film or event.

Pre-Opening Reception & Panel Preview things to come at the 2027 San Diego Black Film Festival by attending the annual Pre-Opening Reception & Panel. Meet & greet filmmakers; sit at director chairs for photos; pick up festival tickets and brochures. It’s also an opportunity to obtain information about the festival’s upcoming films, parties and panel discussions. Filmmakers and other celebrity guests are always on-hand for photos and autographs. TBA 2027 Reservations Required – fill in form below. Maximum of 2 attendees per reservation. If you’re not certain that you and your guest will be able to attend, please do not make a reservation. In addition, it might be a good idea to first talk to any friend or guest you plan on inviting to tag along with you before committing them to attending the Pre-Opening Reception. In the event of an emergency preventing you from attending, please let us know in advance so that other attendees may be admitted in your place. You will not receive a confirmation, but rest assured we will receive your reservation once your push reserve. Your name will then be added to our will call list.
